Sometimes, we forget that we make ballet as much as, or even more, than ballet makes us. My appearance should not stop me from pursuing the role I’ve always dreamt of dancing. Let's look at how we see repertoire roles --and paint them with new colors, breathe new life into them. Regardless of my height, build, or the color of my skin, eyes or hair, I can.
This two artworks you see is another set inspired by the collaboration between Dance by Lina and Core de Ballet, not only to showcase the differences between dancers, but their similarities too. That regardless of color, build and height, we can play the roles that we want. Within our solos, group dances and or in a corps de ballet!
I may not look the part to others’ standards. So what? I am the part.
What Makes It Special
Light and durable, easy to bring around and folded in your bag
The set comes with both the shirt and the tote bag.
The tote bag is washable, so you can reduce waste and wash it again!
Comes in this limited collection tote and bag in limited quantities.
