These represent the three cultures that have informed Teacher Lina’s viewpoint and philosophy on both life and ballet. Russian, for her love of the Vaganova lifestyle and the language she is learning; Japanese, in honor of her heritage and her admiration for the Japanese work ethic with their hobbies; and English, for its persistent presence in countries across the globe, tying the different cultures of ballet together.
